The NDCA National Championships is a premier event that brings together the nation’s top debaters to compete at the highest level. Hosted annually, this prestigious tournament offers a unique qualification process based on regular season participation, ensuring a more equitable opportunity for all. Unlike other championships, the NDCA National Championships guarantees that every member school has at least one entry, fostering inclusivity and celebrating the depth of talent in the debate community.

Since its inception in 2006, the National Debate Coaches Association has proudly crowned national champions in Policy Debate, Public Forum Debate, and Lincoln-Douglas Debate. Beyond competition, the tournament serves as a platform to honor outstanding students and coaches with year-long awards, recognizing their remarkable achievements throughout the season.
