First Round of Voting on 2011-2012 topics
The NDCA membership cast their votes in the first round of balloting for the 2011-2012 topic. The rank order of selections is below:
Ranked 1 Space Policy--Resolved: The United States federal government should substantially increase its exploration and/or development of space beyond the Earth’s mesosphere.
Ranked 2 India--Resolved: The United States federal government should substantially increase its cooperation with India in one or more of the following areas: civilian space programs, nuclear proliferation, trade.
Ranked 3 China--Resolved: The United States federal government should substantially increase its economic engagement with the People’s Republic of China on one or more of the following issues: trade, currency, environment.
Ranked 4 Southeast Asia--Resolved: Resolved: The United States federal government should substantially increase its development assistance to Southeast Asia.
Ranked 5 Cyber Security--Resolved: Resolved: The United States federal government should establish rules of engagement governing its use of cyber warfare.
