NDCA Wants You!
The deadline for submission for candidate statements for the NDCA Board is approaching! Please take a moment out of what we know is an extremely busy time to think about running for the NDCA Board.
If you feel that the NDCA has benefitted you, your program, or the debate community through the NDCA Championships tournament which rewards regional and local debate, curriculum and coach development through our online database of coaching and teaching resources the caselist wiki, the Open Evidence Project, the Barton Scholars Program or other ad hoc projects, then we ask you to consider giving back to the organization and helping those projects continue. Given the Board’s structure, with each member taking a particular area or project of the NDCA, there are lots of opportunities for you to specialize in areas of particular interest to you and your part of the debate community.
The candidate statement only need outline a bit about yourself and why you would like to run. We promise no need for any high profile public debates like Gov Brewer from Arizona! If you would like to run, please send your candidate statement to Tracy McFarland at tmcfarland929@gmail.com.
